SELF-MOTIVATION

Why do so many of us keep spinning the wheels through life, acomplishing so little? There are reasons for that. Lack of self-esteem and fear of failing should be a good beginning. I had both of those blowing against me as a child, but what I had was a mom who didn't believe in excuses for things not done. Her philosophy was "Ode, it's always too late to blow when the nose is gone." So my dry spells usually didn't linger on...and off we go again.

Usually it takes a genuine itch or desire to be motivated. TIME is the most valuable commodity we have. Listen to your inner self, "that little small voice." Expedite your dream with planting seeds within. With "gratitude" fertilize them with the reliance and expectation for a return in your favor. If fear enters...take an interval. My being in the midst of a computer graphics class these days, is a clear example of seeds I planted in the past. Most students are 16, 17 and 18, and I'm not.

Familiar ground is the safest place to start exploring a new idea and consider having fun in the process. Strike a concept familiar to you. Get your toes wet before your knees. Take your time...no sitting down yet. e.g. many internet friends have exhibited fascination for VOCALCONNECTION's seminars, but mortified at the notion of becoming a sponsor.
